What we do?
Asthma & Bronchitis Association of India functions from its Office at St. George’s Hospital, A public Hospital in South Mumbai (India). We offer Holistic treatment & address community dimensions. Diagnosis & Treatment of Asthma, Allergy testing Rehabilitation by exercises, Yoga & Outdoor treks. Awareness & Educate by Lectures, Exhibitions, Seminars, Films & Asthma Camps.
We aim to reduce numbers of Asthma Attacks & its progression by regular treatment to follow-up & precautions of triggers of Asthma. Our Care also helps to reduce cost for Asthmatics by avoiding hospitalisation.
Diagnose the Asthma
Early symptoms include frequent cough especially at night, losing your breath easily or shortness of breath wheezing or coughing after exercises, Feeling very tired or weak when exercising.
The decrease in function of your lung or changes in air tubes can be measured a simple instrument called Peak Flow Meter. Asthma patient is normal in between attacks, unlike chronic bronchitis patients.
